Oil and Environment Minister receives outgoing German Ambassador

Manama, June 21 (BNA): Oil and Environment Minister and the Special Envoy for Climate Affairs, Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak bin Daina, received here today the outgoing German Ambassador to Bahrain, Kai Boeckmann. The minister commended the efforts exerted by the envoy throughout his tenure, contributing to enhancing relations between the two friendly countries in various fields, wishing him every success in his future assignments. Dr. Bin Daina affirmed the kingdom’s keenness to continue cooperating with the German Embassy in Bahrain in the fields of renewable energy, environment and sustainable development. Ambassador Boeckmann expressed thanks and appreciation to the minister for the warm welcome, praising the kingdom’s achievements in the fields of sustainable development and environment protection. He also commended the full cooperation of the kingdom’s officials with him during his tenure, which facilitated his duties, wishing Bahrain further progress and prosperity.
