Oil Minister received the honourary membership of BSTD

Manama, Mar. 27 (BNA): Oil Minister Shaikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, received Dr. Ebrahim Khalifa Al Dossary, Honourary President of Bahrain Society for Training and Human Resources Development. The minister praised the importance of training and human resource development today, which contributes positively to the process of developing human cadres and promoting a culture of creativity and efficiency in the work. He highly appreciated the role played by these specialised institutions in training, aimed at the dissemination and exchange of knowledge and professional experience, assuring his support to such institutions that are stimulating the development of Bahraini human resources, to be able to lead the various institutions towards progress, prosperity and growth. Several topics of interest to oil, gas and energy were discussed at the regional and global level. In addition to the programmes and activities carried out by these training institutions to develop Bahraini human cadres through the organisation of programmes and training activities that undoubtedly contribute to gain various skills and experiences in the field of work, as well as active participation in international conferences and exhibitions. Dr. Al Dossary presented the shield of the international federation of training organisations to the minister. In recognition of the minister’s support for the achievement of the objectives of the International Federation of Training and Human Resources Development. Shaikh Mohammed expressed his pleasure in this honour, praising the outstanding efforts of the institutions to achieve the strategic objectives, assuring the unlimited support for all the activities in various training institutions and programmes for the good of Bahrain and its people.
