Oil Minister receives German ambassador

Manama, Jan. 21 (BNA): Minister of Oil and Environment, Special Envoy for Climate Affairs, Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak bin Daina, stressed Bahrain’s keenness on bolstering relations and partnership with Germany mainly in the sustainable energy field and protecting the environment. He was speaking as he received today German Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain Clemens Hach. He pointed out Bahrain’s keenness to honor its climate and environmental obligations and adhere to the international covenants and agreements signed in this regard. The meeting spotlighted ways of boosting international cooperation in the sustainable energy field. The minister received an invitation from the German ambassador to participate in the Berlin Energy Transition Dialogue (BETD 2023) which will be organized by the German government on March 28 and 29, 2023. The German ambassador voiced his country’s appreciation of strong ties binding the two friendly countries, stressing the importance of continuous cooperation to achieve common goals and interests.
