Oil Minister receives Korean Ambassador

Manama, July 20 (BNA): Minister of Oil and Environment Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak bin Daina received Korean Ambassador Hai Kwan Chungu. The meeting discussed ways of cooperation in developing environmentally friendly technologies related to waste and sewage management, and protecting nature, biodiversity and natural resources and reducing climate change impact, air pollution and water quality. The minister affirmed Bahrain's keenness to develop a waste management system in order to ensure environment protection. The ambassador expressed his country's pride in cooperation with the Kingdom and supported their partnerships to achieve mutual sustainable development goals.
