Oil Minister receives South Korean ambassador

Manama, Oct. 8 (BNA): Minister of Oil Shaikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Khalifa received today South Korean Ambassador to Bahrain Hae Kwan Chung and discussed with him ways of boosting bilateral cooperation mainly in the oil and gas field. He lauded the ambassador’s efforts to further strengthen relations of friendship and cooperation, wishing him every success in his diplomatic duties. The Minister of Oil underscored Bahrain’s keenness to avail of South Korea’s experience in the oil, gas and petrochemical field. He highlighted the main projects being carried out in this sector and the investment opportunities between both countries. The South Korean ambassador expressed sincere thanks and appreciation to the Minister of Oil for the gracious welcome and hospitality. He asserted keenness of his country to broaden the scope of cooperation with the Kingdom of Bahrain, lauding the steady development and modernisation of the oil and gas field in the kingdom.
