Oman organises pavilion in GCC exhibition

Manama, Dec. 6 (BNA): The exhibition accompanying the 37th GCC Supreme Council Summit, to be held in Bahrain on December 6-7, was opened at the Media Centre under the patronage of Minister of Information Affairs Ali bin Mohammed Al-Romaihi. The exhibition includes a pavilion for each of the GCC states, GCC Secretariat General, Gulf Radio and TV, GCC Joint Production Programme, in addition to the GCC news agencies, according to Oman News Agency (ONA). The pavilions of the participating countries include publications, pamphlets, documents, photographs, films and documentaries that highlight the process of integration between the GCC countries and their achievements in various political, cultural and economic fields. The Sultanate, represented by the Ministry of Information, participates with 35 titles of books that talk about the achievements of the Sultanate in various political, economic and cultural sectors, including the addresses and speeches of HM Sultan Qaboos Bin Said, the Royal Tours, " The Sultanate and the Sultan", "Oman in History", " March of Goodness", "The Annual Book Oman 2016" and 12 books on literature, in addition to other books. Oman News Agency (ONA) is also involved in the Photo Exhibition with 32 pictures that highlight the participation of the Sultanate in the march of the GCC over the past years and the achievements of the Sultanate in the prosperous era during the past 46 years in various fields, as well as images that highlight national events and occasions, tourism, heritage and urban aspects of the Sultanate. The exhibition aims to inform visitors about the efforts and achievements of the GCC, through the distribution of brochures and display of the photographs of those achievements in various fields and what the GCC countries enjoy of various natural and traditional potentials, ONA reported.
