Omani Youth Ship docks in Bahrain

Manama, Nov.16 (BNA): The Omani Youth Ship (Al Sultana) has today docked at Mina Salman bin Kingdom of Bahrain as part of a voyage across the GCC countries’ seaports. Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA) Director-General for Culture and Arts Shaikha Hala bint Mohammed Al Khalifa and Omani Embassy Charge d’ Affaires Dr. Mohammed Al Baloushi and other officials welcomed the vessel. A youth delegation featuring 18 students from the GCC member states, and others representing 11 universities in the world are taking part in the voyage and travelling aboard the Omani vessel. The students visited Bahrain National Museum, Boumaher Fort, the gateway to Bahrain Pearl Path, which features on the UNESCO List of World Heritage Sites. They also paid a visit to Pearl Trail Visitors’ Centre in the City of Muharraq as well as the iconic Buzabun building, run by the Shaikh Ibrahim Centre for Culture for Culture and Research.
