Ombudsman receives US Ambassador

Manama, May 24 (BNA): Ombudsman, Nawaf Mohammed Al-Maawda, received here today the US Ambassador to Bahrain, Steven C. Bondy, in the presence of Deputy Ombudsman, Ghada Hamid Habib, Director of International Cooperation and Development, Shaikh Mohammed bin Ali Al Khalifa, and Abdullatif Adel Al-Maawda, from the International Cooperation and Development Directorate. Nawaf Al-Maawda affirmed the Office of the Ombudsman’s keenness to enhance positive communication with the diplomatic missions accredited to Bahrain in order to highlight its work and efforts, as part of its international cooperation and media communication programme. Al-Maawda and the Ambassador toured the Office of the Ombudsman’s sections. Nawaf Al-Maawda stressed the Office of the Ombudsman’s constant keenness to deal transparently with any inquiries pertaining to issues related to its work, especially regarding public confidence.
