Ombudsman receives US Congress delegation

Manama, Feb. 22 (BNA): Ombudsman received US Congress delegation, where they were briefed on its role in promoting human rights principles. The Ombudsman Deputy Secretary-General Ghada Hamid Habib stressed the Ombudsman’s keenness to cooperate with international activities to enhance communication with bodies and institutions interested in its work and diplomatic missions of other countries in Bahrain. The meeting discussed delegation’s inquiries regarding the secretariat's work.
