Opening of Niyaz bi mausoleum

Astana, August 24 2009, Khabar – The Tselinograd district in the Akmola region has witnessed the opening of a mausoleum to Niyaz bi. The mausoleum was constructed on the place of his burial near the Taitobe residential area. Local residents said that the opening of the mausoleum in the sacred Muslim month of Ramadan is a very good sign. In order to immortalize the memory of their famous ancestor and adviser of Ablai khan, local residents suggested naming one of the Astana streets after Niyaz bi.
