Outcomes of Bahraini-Joordanian talks lauded by Speaker

Manama, Dec. 22 (BNA): Speaker of the Council of Representatives, Fawzia bint Abdulla Zainal, has affirmed the depth of the deep-rooted Bahraini-Jordanian relations, hailing the advanced level reached by bilateral relations thanks to the unwavering interest of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and His Majesty King Abdulla II ibn Al-Hussein, of Jordan. She lauded the talks held between HM King Hamad and HM King Abdulla II during the latter’s visit to Bahrain, highlighting the importance of such talks during the current phase, and the challenges resulting from them and requiring unified visions and coordinated stances vis-à-vis them. The current phase also requires bolstering bilateral cooperation in various fields to achieve the interests of the two brotherly peoples, support just Arab causes and strengthen the pillars of regional security, stability and peace, she said. The speaker praised Jordan’s honourable supportive stances towards Bahrain at the political and security levels, hailing the two brotherly countries’ constant coordination at the regional and international gatherings. Zainal affirmed the parliamentary support for the outcomes of the talks held between HM King Hamad and HM King Abdulla II. She confirmed the depth of the parliamentary relations between the two kingdoms, highlighting the on-going cooperation and coordination between Bahrain’s Council of Representatives and Jordan’s House of Representatives, as well as their keenness to intensify their efforts to enhance the development march in the two countries.
