Over 10,000 attend Nasser bin Hamad Ramadan Heritage Festival

Manama, May 16 (BNA): The first Nasser bin Hamad Ramadan Heritage Festival has witnessed a massive turnout during the first 10 days, regarding the number of visitors and participants.
Statistics of the festival’s organising committee show that a total of 10,000 people, half of whom are participants in the heritage and electronic games included in it.
Held upon directives from the Representative of HM the King for Charity Work and Youth Affairs and Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the festival is organised by the Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC)’s Heritage Sports Committee during the holy month of Ramdan.
The first edition of the “Nasser bin Hamad Ramadan Heritage Festival” features an array of heritage and electronic games.
The high visitor turnout reflects the outstanding success of the event in attracting Bahraini youth to popular and heritage and electronic games, especially PUBG whose first winner will receive a cash prize of BD 5000.
Visitors attend the festival’s competitions to win daily cash prizes in addition to travel tickets.
The festival is also an opportunity for them to watch entertaining events and heritage expos held on its sidelines.
Competitions in the preliminary rounds have ended in some games, with individuals and teams preparing for the final rounds of the festival whose total prizes are worth $ 200,000 to be granted to the top ten in all popular and electronic games.
