Paintings by physically challenged Iranian artists on display in Kuwait

TEHRAN,Dec.27(MNA) – An exhibition of paintings by two physically challenged Iranian artists is currently underway at the Museum of Modern Art in Kuwait. Zohreh Etezado-saltaneh and Arash Rezqi-Barez arrived in Kuwait on Monday to attend the opening ceremony of the exhibition. Iranian Ambassador Ruhollah Qahremani-Chabok, cultural attaché Abbas Khameyar, Kuwait’s National Council of Culture, Arts and Letters Secretary-General Ali Al-Yoha, and some South Korean, Chinese, Indian, Iraqi and Afghani diplomats were also in attendance during the ceremony. The exhibit is organized by the Iranian cultural attaché’s office and Kuwait’s National Council for Culture, Arts and Letters. The organizers also showcased a collection by Iranian painter Jahanbakhsh Sadeqi on the sidelines of the exhibit in order to commemorate the physically challenged artist who died in November. The exhibit will run until December 30 at the museum.
