Pakistani delegation visits Parliamentary Studies and Training Centre

Manama, Jan. 14 (BNA): The Parliamentary Studies and Training Centre at the Representatives Council Secretariat General received today a delegation from the Secretariat General of the Senate of Pakistan. The meeting is part of cooperation plans with international parliaments to develop administrative and human skills. It is also in line with the directives of the Representatives Council Speaker Fawzia bint Abdullah Zainal to develop the human cadre and inform international delegations about the parliamentary experience in Bahrain. The Pakistani delegation listened to a briefing on the democratic march in Bahrain, parliamentary work, the relation between the executive and legislative branches and other related topics. They expressed appreciation of the centre’s role and prgrammes to hone the skills of the Secretariat General affiliates.
