Palestinian ambassador to Bahrain praises elections success

Manama, (BNA): The Palestinian ambassador to Bahrain extended congratulations to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier, and the Bahraini people on success of the parliamentary and municipal elections. He described it as an assertion of the Bahraini people's keenness to fulfil their duty towards their nation, pointing out massive participation in the elections with a rate reaching 67%. The Palestinian ambassador lauded active participation of the youth in the elections, stressing that it testifies to the democratic approach promoted by HM the King. He hailed the kingdom's comprehensive development march spearheaded by HM the King, praising massive turnout of the voters to cast their ballots in the elections which were lauded for their high transparency and credibility. The ambassador also commended success of Bahraini women in the elections and their ability to clinch many seats which affirms the unlimited support given to them by HM the King and Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa. He said Bahrain's outstanding democratic experience has earned the kingdom an advanced status in terms of political freedom and democratic work in the world. He wished HM the King abundant health and further, growth, security and stability to Bahrain and its people.
