Parliament Minister receives Bahrain Observatory for Human Rights Watch President

Manama, Oct. 25 (BNA): Parliament Affairs Minister Ghanim bin Fadhel Al Buainain received Bahrain Observatory for Human Rights Watch President Mohsen Ali Al Ghurairi, who presented to him a copy of the first issue of the “The Rights” magazine. The minister praised the role played by the Bahrain Observatory for Human Rights in monitoring and spreading awareness of human rights concepts, consolidating the values of citizenship and preparing specialized cadres in this field, as well as introducing the Bahraini human rights efforts and achievements in regional and international forums. Al Buainain stressed the importance of the studies, research and scientific articles included in the magazine that highlights the latest human rights and legal developments and discusses them in an academic manner. Al Ghurairi praised the support provided by the country to civil society institutions to play their role in serving the community and highlighting national efforts in the field of human rights.
