Parliamentary delegation to visit EU Parliament

Manama, Oct. 17 (BNA): A parliamentary delegation will conduct an official visit to the European Parliament on October 24-29, First Deputy Speaker Ali Al-Aradi said, adding the visit to complement the diplomatic approach adopted by the Council of Representatives. Al-Aradi said the visit aims to strengthen ties and shared visions with the parliaments of the world, including the European Parliament. He pointed out the delegation will attend two sessions of the EU Parliament, the first in Strasbourg and the other in Brussels. The delegation will also hold meetings with a number of the EU and Belgian parliamentarians, as well as with the Group of Friends of the Kingdom of Bahrain at the European Parliament.
