Parliamentary diplomacy stressed

Manama, Feb. 8 (BNA): Shura Council Chairman Ali bin Saleh Al-Saleh today pointed out the legislative branch role in Arab and international forums in highlighting Bahrain's policy, national fundamentals and achievements and the royal reforms to establish a state of law and institutions. In a statement on the Heads of Shura and Representatives Councils meeting to be held on February 11, 2017 in Cairo, Al-Saleh noted the significance of the parliamentary diplomacy role in strengthening Arab parliamentary relations and cooperation, including defending Arab states sovereignty against external interference.
