Parliamentary support for Bahraini professionals affirmed

Manama, May 12 (BNA): Speaker of the Council of Representatives, Fawzia bint Abdulla Zainal, has stressed that the Council spares no efforts in order to support the Bahraini affiliates of various professions across different sectors and fields. The speaker highlighted the importance of the role played by local societies and civil society organisations in promoting the democratic approach through their effective social duties, as part of their dedicated exercise of their national responsibilities. The speaker made the statements while receiving here today the Public Transport Drivers Society (PTDS) Chairman, Mohammed Abdulla Al-Barboori, and members, in the presence of First Deputy Speaker, Abdulnabi Salman, and Second Deputy Speaker, Ali Zayed. The speaker lauded the Transport Drivers Society, stressing the Representatives Council’s support for many proposals aimed at creating a positive environment for Bahraini public transport drivers. Al-Barboori praised the Council of Representatives’ interest in addressing and finding solutions to the obstacles facing public transport drivers.
