Doha, December 20 (QNA) - Qatari English newspaper The Peninsula hailed in its editorial on Sunday Hamad International Airport's winning of the "Best Airport in the Middle East" for the fourth consecutive year by Global Travelers GT Tested Reader Survey Awards, which is one of the most prestigious and respected accolades in the business travel industry. Qatar's world-class airport has taken many measures for safety and convenience of its travellers, the paper said, adding that due to these efforts, it has become a trusted airport for travellers across the world and it continues to win global recognitions for its efforts. Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, the Airport has implemented numerous safety, security and wellbeing measures, along with new lifestyle offerings that aid in alleviating the stress caused by travelling during such times of crises, the paper pointed out.
