People welcome to exhibition in honour of Thai King

BANGKOK, December 7 (TNA) - A 10-day exhibition to honour His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej on the auspicious occasion of the beloved Thai monarch's 86th birthday is being held at Siam Paragon mega shopping complex in central Bangkok, in which people from all walks of life are invited to join. Speaking during the weekly TV and radio programme of Prime Minister and Defence Minister Yingluck Shinawatra on Saturday (Dec 7) morning, Thongtong Chantharangsu, Permanent Secretary for the Prime Minister’s Office, announced that the exhibition, entitled "More than a Monarch" is organised from December 1-10 as part of nationwide celebrations of His Majesty the King’s 86th birthday on December 5. Thongtong said that people attending the exhibition are also welcome to sign their names and extend their best wishes to the revered Thai monarch to have a healthy, long life on golden Bodhi leaves to be collected after the exhibition ends and to be graciously submitted to His Majesty the King. According to the senior official, Thai arts and culture, music and several other exciting programmes are also shown at the exhibition so that visitors gain more knowledge on His Majesty the King’s numerous works for the country and his subjects.
