Persian poem collection appears in Danish

TEHRAN,April 3(MNA) -- A selection of poems by Alireza Behnam has been published in Norway in Danish. Entitled “An Strange Glancing Eye is slipping on Evening”, the book has been translated into Danish by Simon Bjørkman who has written a preface for the book, Behnam told . The book will be unveiled during the Audiatur Festival for New Poetry which will be held from April 12 to 15 in Bergen, Norway. He said that the book, which includes eight long poems and eight short poems, would be distributed in Scandinavian countries in the near future. Since the debut of the festival in 1993, Behnam has worked as a poet, translator (he along with another former Audiaturgjest, Nathalie Quintans Iranian translator), magazine editor and journalist.
