Phone call between the Minister of Industry, Commerce and Tourism, and the Regional Cooperation Minister of Israel

Manama, Sept.14 (BNA): A phone call took place this morning, Monday, September 14, 2020, between the Minister of Industry, Commerce, and Tourism of the Kingdom of Bahrain, Zayed bin Rashid Alzayani, and the Minister of Regional Cooperation in the State of Israel Mr. Ofir Akunis, during which congratulations were exchanged on the occasion of the Declaration of Peace between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the State of Israel, announced after the phone call between His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, US President Donald Trump, and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Many aspects of cooperation between the two countries were discussed within the framework of peace, which will reflect positively on the economies of the two countries, especially in the commercial, industrial, and tourism sectors. The ministers noted that the region is on the verge of a major boom in various economic sectors, resulting in increased trade exchange, attracting joint foreign investments and creating more job opportunities propelled by the private sectors in the two countries leading to many mutual visit and joint projects.
