Baghdad / NINA / - Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi affirmed support for stability and global and regional peace initiatives to stop wars and conflicts. The media office of the Prime Minister stated: "Al-Kadhimi met today, Friday, in New York, with his Ukrainian counterpart, Denys Shmyhal, on the sidelines of participation in the meetings of the United Nations General Assembly." During the meeting, the Prime Minister stressed the need to find an end to the war in Ukraine as soon as possible, and to resolve differences by peaceful means. Al-Kadhimi pointed out that Iraq has long suffered from armed conflicts and wars, and today it stands against the logic of war, and that the long Iraqi experience with wars has proven that there is no winner in them, and that they leave nothing but destruction and devastation.
