PHITSANULOK, February 14 (TNA) - Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra sent her love to all Thai people nationwide on the Saint Valentine’s Day on Tuesday.
Yingluck said, during her five-day upcountry trip to inspect flood-prone areas, that on the day of love, February 14, she would like to express her love and sincerity to all Thai people nationwide and would like to encourage everyone to extend their love and loyalty to His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej and all members of the Royal Family.
The prime minister suggested all Thai people to show their love to their parents, friends and those whom they respect every day.
Newly-appointed Deputy Agriculture and Cooperatives Minister Natthawut Saikua, who is accompanying the prime minister, meanwhile, said everyone should have both love and understanding every day and he would like to see sincere acceptance, respect and good wishes for one another and then conflicts can be left behind.
Natthawut, who is also a red-clad National United Front of Democracy against Dictatorship (UDD) leader, insisted that national reconciliation is the common goal of all Thai people and can happen with sincerity and willingness to understand one another. (TNA)
