PNC Speaker Welcomes Doha Declaration

Amman, February 06 (QNA) - The Speaker of the Palestinian National Council (PNC) Salim al-Zanoun has welcomed the agreement between Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas and Hamas Political Bureau Chief Khaled Meshaal under the auspices of HH the Emir of Qatar Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani to set a mechanism for achieving the Palestinian reconciliation. Speaking at PNC's headquarters in Amman, al-Zanoun praised the accord's decision saying that Abbas would head the interim consensus government. He called on all political factions to support the agreement and help in finalizing and executing other aspects of the reconciliation. (QNA)
