Police To Help Detect Malaysian Bali Jail Escapee

KUALA LUMPUR, June 21 (Bernama) -- The Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) will assist to track down a Malaysian prisoner who escaped from the Kerobokan Prison in Bali Indonesia on Monday. Deputy Inspector-General of Police Noor Rashid Ibrahim said police would be monitoring several suspected hideouts if the suspect attempted to enter Malaysia. “Police will cooperate with the authorities in Indonesia by focusing on the main hiding places should the prisoner return to the country. “Police will also monitor the suspect’s hiding places in the country,” he told reporters here. Noor Rashid was commenting on the actions RMP would take if the Malaysian prisoner identified as Tee Kok King, 50, attempted to enter the country. The media on Tuesday reported that four foreign prisoners including Tee escaped via a tunnel from a cell in Kerobokan Prison in Bali.
