Police impound 70 kg hashish in northwestern Turkey

DUZCE/ISTANBUL (A.A) - October 30, 2011 - Turkish police seized 70 kilograms of hashish in an operation staged in the northwestern province of Duzce and Istanbul on Saturday. Acting on a tip-off, police followed two vehicles in Duzce and Istanbul and searched the vehicles in a gas station on Ankara-Istanbul motorway. Police confiscated 70 kilograms of hashish in the operation, and detained five people.
