Political Affairs Undersecretary meets Japanese Ambassador-Designate

Manama, June 7 (BNA): The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Political Affairs, Dr. Shaikh Abdulla bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, today met the Ambassador-Designate of Japan to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Miyamoto Masayuki. Dr. Shaikh Abdulla bin Ahmed Al Khalifa congratulated the Japanese Ambassador on his new position, wishing him success in his diplomatic duties, which would contribute to enhancing historical relations between Bahrain and Japan at all levels. The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Political Affairs underlined the Kingdom’s keenness to strengthen partnership with Japan in various fields, adding that there are many promising investment opportunities that would increase mutual benefits for both countries. The Japanese Ambassador expressed his country’s aspirations to enhance existing friendly relations and cooperation with Bahrain, wishing the Kingdom further progress and prosperity.
