Premier congratulated on prestigious award

Manama, Oct. 23 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa received a cable of congratulations from Labour and Social Development Minister Jamil bin Mohammed Ali Humaidan on being awarded the Order of the Golden Fleece by the royal Habsburg family and the Hollabrunn City Council in Austria. The honour was bestowed on HRH the Premier in recognition of his efforts to protect societies, support charities and humanitarian activities and advocate peace. The decoration is also an acknowledgement of the Premier's noble values and personal commitment to achieving citizens' welfare and dedicated efforts to promote global peace. The Labour and Social Development Minister described the award as a new achievement for HRH the Prime Minister in tribute for his outstanding role in fast-tracking Bahrain's development and boosting citizens' welfare. He took pride in Bahrain's numerous accomplishments brought about in the prosperous era of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, wishing HRH the Premier abundant health and more progress and prosperity to Bahrain and its people.
