Premier congratulates Japanese Emperor

Manama, Dec. 14 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa deputised His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Ali Al-Khalifa to attend a reception party marking the 83rd birthday of Japanese Emperor Akihito. Japanese Ambassador to Bahrain Kiyoshi Asako hosted the ceremony at the Ritz Carlton Hotel, in the presence of senior officials, members of the diplomatic corps and guests. HH Shaikh Isa bin Ali Al-Khalifa conveyed congratulations from HRH the Premier to the Japanese monarch, wishing him health and happiness and his country and friendly people further progress and prosperity. HH Shaikh Isa bin Ali Al-Khalifa commended steadily-growing relations in all fields, hailing solid friendship and mutual keenness on developing joint cooperation. The Japanese ambassador extended deep thanks to HRH the Premier, hailing his keenness on consolidating bilateral relations. He reiterated his country's keenness on enhancing joint cooperation, hailing Bahrain's strides in all sectors.
