Premier directs expediting progress of health, development projects

Manama, Mar. 3 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa today at the Gudaibiya Palace was briefed on the work progress of a number of development projects presented by Minister of Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning, Issam bin Abdullah Khalaf. HRH the Prime Minister directed to expedite the work progress of four health and development projects, including the Mohammed bin Khalifa Cardiac Center in Awali. He directed to finalizing the technical details before putting the Khalifa Town Health project out to tender. And directed to start the execution steps of the Muharraq Medical Complex that comprises of an elderly care center, maternity hospital and a car parking. HRH the Prime Minister listened to a brief on the Saada project and directed to start the second stage. He also listened to a brief on the progress of the Muharraq Central Market, which is in its final stages. HRH the Prime Minister underlined meeting citizens needs and aspirations and providing them with a prosperous life. He noted the government’s keenness to implement housing, health, educational and infrastructure projects in conformity with highest standards. He directed the officials to pay visits to work locations and meeting citizens to learn about their remarks and to consider them. He praised the Works’ efforts to implement and follow up various development projects, noting the ministry’s commitment to the quality and efficiency standards in the implementation of the same projects.
