Premier hails RCSI educational role

Manama, Nov. 27 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa received at Gudaibiya Palace today Health Minister Faeqa bint Said Al Saleh who introduced to him a delegation from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI) led by the college President Prof. John Hyland who are on a visit to Bahrain to attend a graduation ceremony of the 7th batch of the nursing and higher studies and researches colleges for 2016 held under the patronage of HRH the Premier. HRH the Prime Minister underlined the government's support to all institutions backing the health sector with qualified professionals capable of meeting the government's strategy aimed at providing the best medical services for citizens. He hailed the pioneering educational role of RCSI and its contribution to training Bahrainis and providing highly qualified Bahraini medical staff. He stressed Bahrain's keenness to bolster cooperation with RCSI and benefit from its international reputation and achievements. HRH the Premier underscored the government's keenness to develop the health sector in Bahrain by availing of major international universities and colleges and attracting well-reputed doctors in all disciplines to benefit from their experience. The delegation thanked HRH the Prime Minister for his unflinching support to the college since its inception, describing it as an incentive towards more cooperation between both sides.
