Premier presented book by Anna Tibaijuka

Manama, Sep. 27 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa received here today Anna Kajumulo Tibaijuka, the former Minister of Lands, Housing and Human Settlements, Tanzania, former UN- Under Secretary-General of the United Nations and Former Executive Director, UN-Habitat and Director-General of the United Nations Office at Nairobi. Anna Kajumulo presented HRH Premier a copy of her book entitled "Building Prosperity: Housing and Economic Development". The book tackles the crucial importance of housing in the field economic development, and highlights the best practices in this regard. HRH Premier lauded the efforts exerted by Anna Tibaijuka in compiling her book that embodies the rich experience she had gained through her leadership of the UN-Habitat and academic career. HRH the Prime Minister expressed admiration for the book that includes valuable information that can be useful in enhancing international action in the field of sustainable urban development. Anna Tibaijuka expressed sincere thanks and appreciation to HRH the Prime Minister for his unwavering support to all efforts aimed at achieving sustainable development goals. She also valued highly the Prime Minister's interest in appreciating every effort aiming to benefit the entire humanity.
