Premier receives Pakistani Minister of Commerce

Manama, Sep. 25 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa received at Gudaibiya Palace today Pakistani Minister of Commerce Khurram Dastgir Khan. He hailed all efforts aimed at boosting commercial cooperation between the Islamic countries, pointing out Bahrain's constant keenness to broaden the scope of commercial and economic cooperation with the Republic of Pakistan. HRH the Premier praised the advanced level of the Bahraini-Pakistani relations, commending Pakistan's international role as an Islamic power and its supportive stances to Bahrain in all circumstances. He also emphasized growing cooperation between both countries and the need to further boost it mainly in the commercial and economic fields. He affirmed Bahrain's keenness to enhance bilateral coordination at the Asian and international level so as to achieve common goals. The Pakistani Minister of Commerce conveyed to HRH the Premier the greetings of his Pakistani counterpart Mohammed Nawaz Sharif. He expressed appreciation of the great care given by HRH the Prime Minister for the Bahraini-Pakistani relations, commending Bahrain's advanced level and its pioneering status in the commercial field which reflects the government's sound economic policy.
