Premier stresses depth of Bahraini-Qatari relations

Manama, Dec. 7 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa today paid a visit to the Qatari Amir, HH Shaikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, at his residence here, and reviewed with him ways to bolster joint cooperation in various fields. The meeting discussed the current situation of joint GCC action in the present and the future, as well as the latest regional and global developments. HRH the Prime Minister affirmed the depth of the Bahraini-Kuwaiti relations of cooperation and fraternity, praising the steady progress of joint cooperation, which, they said, reflects the solid bilateral ties. The Prime Minister lauded the efforts made by Shaikh Tamim to enhance joint GCC action. HRH Premier expressed hope that cooperation between the two brotherly countries will further develop in various fields for the best interests of the two countries and their brotherly peoples. The Qatari Amir and HRH the Prime Minister underscored the importance of the resolutions and recommendations of the 37th GCC Summit in boosting joint GCC work in a way that matches the requirements of the current phase and the challenges currently faced by t eh region.
