Premier stresses one-family spirit in Bahrain

Manama, Apr. 21 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa received at Gudaibiyah Palace today members of the royal family and senior officials. He discussed with them local and regional issues, stressing that Bahrain is the state of institutions and law which have to be respected. He praised the role of Bahraini people in serving their nation and society, stressing the one-family spirit characterising the Bahraini community under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. HRH the Premier affirmed Bahrain's fast-paced development strides thanks to the strategies adopted to ensure sustainability of growth according to international standards and in tune with the present requirements and future needs. He paid tribute to the Bahraini people for their vital contribution to the kingdom's development, stressing their influential role in national growth and prosperity. He also underlined the government's keenness to ensure development projects meet citizens' needs and aspirations, pointing out the importance of community partnership in this regard. "Everyone has a duty and responsibility towards this nation," HRH the Prime Minister asserted, calling on all to contribute to the kingdom's growth. He also underlined the need to avail of the promising opportunities offered by the national economy to press ahead with development, invigorate the economic movement and provide more job opportunities for citizens. HRH the Prime Minister underscored the need to maintain unity and social cohesion which are considered as a bulwark in facing global challenges. He affirmed that the Arab nation is currently facing many challenges threatening its security, stability and the right of its people for development. He urged more vigilance, stressing the need to maintain communication to preserve security and hard-won gains.
