Presentation of “Baku-2015” first European Games to be held in Paris

Baku, November 26, AzerTAc Presentation of “Baku-2015” first European Games will be held, with the organizational support of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and Azerbaijan’s Embassy in France, in Paris, November 26. Within the framework of the event, the guests will familiarize themselves with an exhibition comprised of bronze statues devoted to “Baku-2015”. Called “We Together”, the exhibition will demonstrate over 20 works by Azerbaijani sculptors. Then, attendees of the event will be presented a documentary devoted to the first European Games. At the presentation ceremony, violinists of the State Chamber Orchestra of Azerbaijan named after Gara Garayev will perform. At the end of the ceremony, the guests will be presented various publications of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation about Azerbaijan. It should be noted that presentations of “Baku-2015” first European Games have been held so far, with the organizational support of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, in the cities of Cannes, Athens, Berlin and Istanbul. Each of these events was remembered by various presentations related to Azerbaijan’s history and culture. The presentations aimed to inform the visitors in other countries of the European Games to be held for the first time, as well as preparation works carried out in Azerbaijan for these Games, and popularize the culture, art and traditions of Azerbaijan. The first European Games will be held during 12-28 June 2015. Over 6000 sportsmen from 49 countries will compete at the competitions.
