President Appoints Head Of Iranology Foundation

Tehran, July 9, IRNA – President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad appointed a major cleric as head of Iranology Foundation. According to the report of Presidential Office website on Monday, President Ahmadinejad in a decree appointed Ayatollah Seyed Mohammad Hosseini Khamenei as chairman of the Iranology Foundation for a period of four years. According to the statute of the foundation, the ayatollah will be head of the board of trustees, too. In his decree, the president also remembered former head of the foundation late Hassan Habibi and praised his work in the foundation./end
