President of Customs chairs Customs delegation in WCO conference

Maastricht, Oct. 23 (BNA): President of Customs Shaikh Ahmed bin Hamad Al Khalifa chaired the Customs Affairs delegation that took part in the World Customs Organisation (WCO) conference and exhibition for technology that was held from October 18 to 20 in Maastricht in the Netherlands. On the event's sidelines, Shaikh Ahmed met the Director-General of Customs of the Netherlands, in which the meeting reviewed topics of common interest. The President of Customs asserted the importance of such meetings to create new customs opportunities to meet sustainable development goals.
