Presidential decree on granting extra exam courses, academic year for university students

Damascus, SANA- President Bashar al-Assad on Saturday issued the decree No. 69 for 2019 on granting extra exam courses and an extra academic year for university students who exhausted opportunities for applying to exams. The extra courses are granted to primary university stage students. The decree grants an academic year for students in qualifying and specialization studies and for Master’s degree and PhD degree students, taking into consideration the conditions of military students in different previous university stages by providing additional facilitations to them. The decree also stipulates for allowing the students, who were dismissed from the Master’s degree studies during the war period, to re-register in the university.
