Prime Minister condoles with Egyptian President, Premier

Manama, Dec. 11 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa sent a cable of condolences to Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi over the victims of the terrorist explosion which targeted the Coptic Christian Cathedral in Abbasiyah, Cairo, leaving several people dead and others injured. HRH the Premier extended heartfelt condolences to President al-Sisi, the Egyptian people and the victims’ bereaved families. He prayed to the Almighty to rest the souls of the deceased in eternal peace and give their bereaved families solace and fortitude, wishing the injured quick recovery. He strongly condemned such heinous terrorist acts and reiterated Bahrain’s solidarity and support to Egypt in confronting such painful acts, affirming deep-rooted fraternal and historic relations binding the two countries and peoples. HRH the Premier sent a similar cable of condolences to Egyptian Prime Minister Sherif Ismail over the victims of the terrorist blast.
