Pubic Security Chief receives delegation from University of North Carolina

Manama, Sept. 2 (BNA): Chief of Public Security, Lt-General Tariq Al Hassan, received today a delegation from the US-based University of North Carolina. The delegation was headed by Dr David Wyrick and comprises in its membership the Director of Curriculum and Training of Drug Abuse Resistance Education (D.A.R.E. America). The meeting was also attended by the Director of Maan programme (Together) against violence and addiction, Ali Ameeni. The Public Security Chief welcomed the delegation, highlighting the importance of the visit to promote coordination in implementing Maan that covers many schools in Bahrain. He directed to develop efforts to promote joint cooperation to achieve the targeted goals of the programme. The head of the delegation expressed thanks and appreciation to the Public Security Chief and those involved in the programme, hailing professionalism of the community police personnel in achieving Maan' s objectives.
