Public Security Chief receives D.A.R.E International delegation

Manama, Feb. 22 (BNA): Chief of Public Security, Lieutenant-General Tariq Al Hassan, has received a delegation from the D.A.R.E International, led by the CEO Francisco Pegueros. The Director of Maan "Together" Programme Against Violence and Addiction, Ali Ameeni, attended the meeting. The Chief welcomed the delegation, hailing the role of the organisation in developing the Maan programme to enhance the behaviours of students and their skills to make the right decisions. He highlighted the supportive role of Interior Minister in achieving the goals of the programme and its positive impacts on the community, in general, and students, in particular. Mr Pegueros praised the efforts in managing the programme and its curricular and the professionalism of those running the regional training centre in promoting studies and research to set performance indicators on the influence of the programme on youth.
