Public Security chief visits Coast Guard

Manama, Aug.10 (BNA): The Chief of Public Security, Major-General Tariq Al Hassan, has visited the Coast Guard. He was received by the Coast Guard Commander, Major-General Alaa Siyadi. The Chief was briefed about the training courses inside and outside Bahrain provided to the Coast Guard personnel. Some of these course s cover participants from Gulf countries, such as vessel control, search and rescue and ship inspection and protection. He hailed the directives of the Interior Minister to enhance the capabilities of the Coast Guard to meet security challenges as part of its duties to protect the coastlines. He praised the efforts of the Coast Guard for organising specialised courses to enhance the skills of personnel. He wished all the best to the authority in serving the nation.
