Qatar Charity Organizes Student Summer Camp in Cooperation with QU, Ajyal Educational Center

Doha, July 12 (QNA) - In cooperation with Qatar University (QU) and Ajyal Educational Center, Qatar Charity is organizing 'Wathiq' summer camp aiming at providing children and young people with cultural knowledge and life and sports skills. The camp, which lasts for a whole month, includes training and educational activities, recreational activities, sports and educational lectures. 40 male and female students in the age group of 5-14 years have registered in it. They are divided in two groups from 5-9 years old and from 10-14 years old, taking into account the precautionary measures related to the Coronavirus pandemic. Director of Programs and Community Development at Qatar Charity Fatima Al Mohannadi said that this camp is a continuation of Qatar Charity's efforts to organize such activities for students during the summer holidays, based on its belief in the need to refine the talents of the participants and upgrade their abilities to prepare a pioneering generation that is proud of its religion and is proud of its customs and heritage, and seeks to develop his country. She praised the fruitful cooperation with the Ajyal Center, and thanked Qatar University, which hosted the activities of this event. (QNA)
