Qatar Museums Announces Cultural Activities for March
Doha, March 06 (QNA) - Qatar Museums today announced a range of cultural activities for March, inviting members of the community to explore its free art exhibitions.
The National Museum of Qatar will host four exhibitions that will run until April 2 for plastic artist Jeff Koons entitled "Lost in America", the American artist and designer Virgil Abloh, entitled "Creativity Without Borders", the Algerian artist Kader Attia, entitled "About Silence", and the international designer Christian Dior entitled "Designer of Dreams".
The National Museum of Qatar also offers a virtual art workshop for students through a set of creative activities that revolve around the culture of Qatar and the natural environment. The virtual workshop inspires students to acquire artistic skills in drawing, coloring, and forming clay paste.
On the occasion of the anniversary of the opening of the National Museum of Qatar in its unique form after three years, Qatar Museums is organizing on March 26 for children and families a series of distinguished events that will continue throughout the day including art workshops, behind-the-scenes tours, puppet shows, competitions...etc.
During the days of March 10, 17 and 24, a course entitled "Designing Architectural Models" will be held, during which participants will find out about essential role that architectural drawings and models play in the advancement of distinctive buildings and the shape of future buildings. (QNA)
