Qatar Participates in 1st Meeting of ATAIC's General Assembly

Doha, March 10 (QNA) - The State of Qatar participated in the first meeting of the General Assembly of the Association of Tax Authorities of Islamic Countries (ATAIC), which was held remotely. The State of Qatar was represented in the meeting by HE Chairman of the General Tax Authority (GTA) Ahmed bin Isa Al Muhannadi. The meeting discussed the regulations for organizing the work of the General Assembly and the Executive Council, and the financial reports for 2019, in addition to the annual program of the Association's activities in 2022. This virtual meeting also provided an opportunity for ATAIC's members to exchange experiences, information and ideas to face common challenges, and to exchange best practices in the field of taxation. It also provided them the opportunity to discuss the changes that have occurred in the international tax arena during the recent period. (QNA)
