Qatari Amir departs Bahrain

Manama, Dec. 7 (BNA): Qatari Amir, HH Shaikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, left the kingdom today after participating in the 37th session of the Supreme Council of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Summit, hosted by Bahrain for two days. Shaikh Tamim was seen off by the Head of his Convoy of Honour, Finance Minister Shaikh Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, and the Qatari Ambassador to Bahrain. His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received a cable of thanks from HH Shaikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani. Shaikh Tamim expressed sincere thanks and appreciation to HM the King for the gracious welcome and hospitality accorded to him and his accompanying delegation during their stay in the kingdom. The Qatari Amir expressed satisfaction with the important results of the 37th GCC Summit, wishing HM the King abundant good health and happiness and further progress and prosperity to the Bahraini people.
