Qatari Culture Minister Meets UNCTAD Secretary-General

Geneva, February 27 (QNA) - HE Qatar's Minister of Culture, Arts and Heritage the Chairman of UNCTAD 13, Dr. Hamad bin Abdulaziz Al Kuwari met here on Monday with the Secretary-General of UNCTAD Dr. Supachai Panitchpakdi at the headquarters of the Organization, in preparation for the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD 13), to be hosted by the State of Qatar from 21 to 26 April 2012. During the meeting, HE the Minister Dr. Al Kuwari renewed Qatar's welcoming to host the conference, and its special responsibility to contribute to global efforts for achieving comprehensive development . The Minister also briefed the UNCTAD officials on the ongoing preparations for making conference a success.(QNA)
